Title: National consultant for needs assessment of hospital isolation rooms development Deadline for application : 5 September 2008 Duration of contract: Up to three months Objectives of the Program: The Ministry of Health, supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) with funding from the European Commission, has a project for “Implementation of the National Strategic Plan for Avian Influenza”. This project addresses the needs of Indonesia in controlling avian influenza and preparing the country for an influenza pandemic. One project activity is the development of isolation rooms in up to 15 different avian influenza referral hospitals. The isolation rooms will be used for patients with avian influenza and other infections to prevent transmission of infection from patients to health care workers and other patients. |
