COFFEE VALUE CHAIN COMPETITIVENESS ADVISOR The DAI-AMARTA project is working in three value chains nationwide and seeks a full time additional staff to support coffee sector activities based in Jakarta and/or Medan. The objective of this position is to assist in the design, implementation, and management of the coffee value chain initiatives in various locations to enhance Indonesian competitiveness through value chain interventions. The Coffee Value Chain Competitiveness Advisor is specifically responsible for liaising with producer organizations to identify, plan, and implement technical assistance, training, and RACA activities for the Arabica coffee value chain, resulting in increased productivity, improved quality, access to better markets, and an enhanced enabling environment. Save the Children immediately mobilized staff and resources following the earthquake in West Sumatra. Using pre-positioned supplies we were able to reach affected children and their families with immediate life saving supplies. |

The Orangutan Conservation Services Project (OCSP), is a USAID sponsored program that
runs through September 30, 2010. OCSP is the key biodiversity conservation program of USAID/Indonesia and directly contributes to USAID’s environmental and biodiversity objectives. The program is administered under the Basic Human Services (BHS) Office of USAID, which includes an interlinking set of health, environment, food security/nutrition and avian influenza programs. |
