Responsibilities:
Research existing hygiene promotion media campaigns; Research media
options (print, billboards, and radio); Create innovative radio and
newspaper hygiene promotion programs ; Work together with health
department, PMI and other partners to make sure message is appropriate and
supports their goals as well .
Qualification:
Speak Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa English; Experience creating media
campaigns ; Expereince monitoring the success of media campaigns; Hygiene
promotion background or experience a plus
Hygiene Promoter Coordinator ( 1 person )
Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, support and assist public health promoters as they
create and conduct community sessions on hygiene promotion through various
programs such as Child to Child Activities, youth competitions, PHAST,
etc
;Monitor community disputes, and act as
village liaison together with Canadian Red Cross as needed by the
engineering team.
;Create village maintenance workers training
together with engineers
;Create and supervise trainings on community members on sanitation
systems purpose care and maintenance
;Monitor community knowledge, attitudes and
practice; Coordinate with Red Cross and Other Partners
;Collect, assess, use and improve existing IEC materials from
IFRC, PMI, Health Department and UNICEF
Qualification:
Speak Bahasa English and Bahasa Indonesia (Bahasa Aceh is a plus);
Experience planning, leading and conducting creative hygiene promotion
programs; Basic health or hygiene educational background; Hard-working,
Innovative and able to motivate community members to improve hygiene
practices; Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evening
so that we can reach communities when they are most available; Creative
ideas, or experience with media campaigns a bonus
