RTI International a leading international consulting firm, is seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates for two Regional Offices of the Local Governance Support Program (LGSP) funded by USAID with other international partners.
LGSP provides customized capacity-building support to local governance stakeholders, including provincial and local governments (kota/kabupaten) , local legislatures (DPRDs) civil society organizations and media in more than 45 districts and cities in 6 provinces of Indonesia. LGSP staff based in the 6 Regional Offices work in close teamwork with Jakarta based technical specialists to meet LGSP’s core objective of expanding participatory, effective and accountable local governance. ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _
Aceh
In conjunction with a Grant from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Aceh and North Sumatra (MDF) administered by the International Development Association (World Bank) for the Government of Indonesia for the Support for Poor and Disadvantaged Areas (SPADA) Project, RTI seeks candidate who will report to the Senior Administrator of LGSP’s Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (Aceh) Regional Office. The successful candidate will work in up to 10 districts in Aceh from offices in Banda Aceh, Meulaboh and Lhokseumawe, and will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in government, civil society and international partner programs.
Procurement / Administration Assistant :
Upfront procurement process, assure all sub-contracts, consultant contracts, and purchase orders awarded by LGSP are in compliance with USAID and RTI rules and regulations. Participate in the overall managing and monitoring of all sub-contracting arrangements. Coordinate with HR/Recruitment Officer on regular consultant inputs towards the projects as it relates to project subcontractors, technical staff personnel matters or disputes arising from sub-contracting arrangements. Conduct secretarial duties, such as typing, filing, and scheduling meetings, as well as maintain and record files and official documents related to the project, prepare letters, packages and documents for mail, and record all letters and e-mail distribution. Specific assignments are expected to change from time to time. This position is required to maintain close coordination with the Senior Administrator, Office Accountant and other staff as appropriate on tasks that are required to be completed.
Experience in administration and procurement is required, previous USAID or World Bank project experience desirable.
