Job Description
Effective Date: June 2008 Job Title: Human Resource and Liaison Officer Job Title of Immediate Supervisor: Support Manager Work Location: Jakarta
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:
•Recruiting staff : this includes developing job description, preparing advertisement, checking applications form, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates; •Developing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management; •Interpreting and advising on employment legislation; •Employee orientation, development, and training; •Serve as a link between management and employee by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems. •Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates. •Advising regarding, applying for, process and obtain all necessary visas for expatriates. Document these procedures •Develop and maintain line level relationships with government entities. Acquire information of relevance to World Relief operations in Indonesia, and report the same to the Country Director in a timely fashion. This includes knowing and tracking registration and reporting requirements of the government •Similarly, work with the Country Director directly in relations with ministry partners and international agencies, and develop line level functional relationships as appropriate •Other tasks as assigned from time to time by the supervisor
