Job AnnouncementThe Norwegian Red Cross (NRCS) in Simeulue invites application of qualified candidates for the following position:JOB TITLE:DUTY STATION:REPORTING TO: STATUS AND SALARY:STARTING DATE:DURATION:
RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Implementation & Monitoring of PDAM Projects
Being in project locations as required and monitors/evaluates work progress
Ensures project objectives are being respected, including quality and technical appropriateness of works being implemented
Proposes and implements corrective steps as required, including meeting with PDAM and/or communities and contractor as required to resolve problems or disputes
Monitors and controls the activities in compliance with the time frame.
Liaises with Program Coordinator as required to ensure maintenance of standards and any other issues which may arise2. Reports & Statistics, Logistics related to PDAM Project
Maintains files and updates regularly, keeping and other relevant details updated
Prepares and submits inputs to weekly, Monthly Report; Project follow up and other internal reports as required
Prepares and submits detailed assessment reports as required
Monitors & follows up on materials procurement by the contractor, check and confirm the right material3. Projects Assessment (if needed)
Assesses needs according to WatSan criteria. Collects all relevant information for project implementation during site visits and in meetings. Analyses information and produces final designs,
including necessary engineering calculation, preparation of drawings & plans, bills of quantities and project castings.QUALIFICAT ION AND REQUIREMENT:
- University degree in water and sanitation or civil engineering
- 3 Years experience in RCC buildings & Pipe installation works.
- 3 years work experience in national or international organizations
- Good management skills and administrative knowledge
- Fluent in English, (speaking, writing and reading)
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
