The American Red Cross Tsunami Recovery Program (TRP) had been
 established to direct the organization¢s response to the South Asia tsunami
 disaster. The TRP activities focus on integrated community recovery and
 preparedness interventions in tsunami affected countries in Asia and
 East Africa in collaboration with Red Cross and non-Red Cross partners.

 liaison offices in Jakarta, and other areas in Aceh province in collaboration
 with the Indonesian Red Cross.

Responsibilities:
	* To plan and implement ICBRR  School program at Branch Level, which
 is consistent with operations plans and in coordination with PMI
 counterpart 
	* To develop implementation guidelines in consultation with PMI,
 School Management authority  and other ARC sectors
	* To facilitate the process of School education program specially
 training, HVCA and School disaster contingency plan etc.
	* To keep coordination and liaison with ICBRR Program Partner-PMI
 (NHQ, Chapter, Branches), ARC other sector and local government unit in
 order to facilitate smooth and timely implementation of school disaster
 preparedness activities. 
	* To make frequent field visit in the project area (at least 50% of
 working days)
	* To facilitate ARC DM and PMI in regards to program expenditures per
 budgetary provision and preparation of expense report per PMI-ARC
 financial procedure.
	* To support PMI in organizing/facilitating trainings/workshops at
 different level related with school program.
	* To support Monitoring and Reporting Officer in order to ensure
 quality program monitoring and preparation of regular program reports.
	* To maintain better cooperation and coordination with other ARC
 programs in order to ensure integrated approach.
	* To carry out any other program related tasks given by the
 appropriate authority.
 Qualification :
	* University degree in any development studies
	* Three year project management experience with an International
 organization on disaster risk reduction specially focused on school program
	* Excellent writing and communication skill in English and Bahasa
	* Good leadership, supervisory and management skill
	* Training module development skill
	* Ability and ready for extensive field visit
	* Good knowledge on geographic and environment of the area of
 assignment
	* Excellent knowledge on computer operation (windows, excel, power
 point and graphic illustrator)
