IFRC is currently looking for a qualified and committed candidate to fill the following position on a fixed term contract basis : 1. Reporting Officer (RO) Location : Based in Jakarta, Indonesia Reports to : Reporting Manager Start Date : Immediately Duration : One year (with possible extension)
Purpose of the Post: To increase Federation’s accountability to all its stakeholders by keeping them informed of operational progress in Indonesia according to, but not limited to, annual appeal, emergency appeal and pledge management notes. Key Tasks and Responsibilities : Establish and maintain regular dialogue with programme managers to ensure reports are timely, evidence based and of good quality; Ensure timely submission of reports by establishing and maintaining list of reports due and sending regular and timely notifications to programme managers; Regular coordination with programme coordinators/ managers and/or regional coordinators to ensure they are up to date with the latest planning and reporting tools and templates; Identify learning and training solutions as well as relevant meeting participations in relations to capacity building in reporting for delegation staff participation; Assist the Indonesian Red Cross in establishing and maintaining an appropriate internal and external information and reporting system and build their capacity in reporting. Responsible for coordinating, editing and delivery of narrative operational reports Requirements : • University degree in social studies, communications/ journalism or related areas • Minimum 2 years work experience in reporting • Good physical and mental health Skills / Knowledge : Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) Journalism, report writing Team Player Please Notice: Applications (resume only) should be sent to ifrc.recruitment@ gmail.com quoting the Ref Code as the subject of the email and the attachment should not exceed 200 Kb.
