VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Islamic Relief was founded in 1984 in the United Kingdom and currently works in over 30 countries providing support to those in need regardless of race, religion, ethnic, or political affiliations. Because of its existence in Indonesia, Islamic Relief was able to respond in Aceh just one day after the Tsunami struck in 2004. Since then, Islamic Relief has constructed houses, schools, health clinics and numerous projects aimed at supporting the recovery of over 100,000 Tsunami-affected people Aceh.
Islamic Relief seeks to hire committed and experienced person for the following position:
ADMIN AND LOGISTICS ASSISTANTS
2 POSITIONS ONE BASED IN LAMNO AND THE OTHER CALANG
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing the logistical requirements of IRI in the CRC CCP project in Lamno/Calang.
• Request, purchase, receive & store supplies appropriately.
• Organize the transportation & delivery of Supplies
• Maintain a centralized stock record of all supplies in the field.
• Ensures the smooth running of the office by necessary procurements.
• Coordinate the Logistical activities with other Islamic Relief’s core activities in Banda Aceh.
• Implement, control & maintain an effective communications system with Banda aceh logistics and Admin unit.
Necessary qualifications:
• University degree from reputable university or
• Diploma in Accounting, economics or business administration with sufficient experience
• Minimum 2 years in the similar position
• Good knowledge of supply chain, transportation management
• Computer literate words, Microsoft excel, power point.
• Enthusiasm, good initiative, team work
• Prior work with NGOs or international organizations is a plus.
