We are inviting dynamic, qualified and high self motivated personnel to join our great team for the following position: Livelihoods Senior Project Officer (Code: LSPO – Nov 08) 1 Position Skills: · Commitment and Understanding of the Red Cross Principles · Demonstrated experience of working in a team (working closely with other ARC delegates and project personnel to share information and collaborate)
Demonstrated skills in negotiation and networking to facilitate cooperation between project partners (ARC, PMI, PNS, BRR, local government authorities, technical partner NGOs) · Previous experience in the community development sector (with emphasis on livelihoods, sustainable development and gender analysis) · Project management including previous experience of managing operational budgets · High level verbal and written communication skills (English and Bahasa Indonesia) · Ability to analyse and solve Problem (be proactive in referring matters to ARC Livelihood Consultant) · Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint in particular) Experiences: · 3-5 years working experience in the same field. · Demonstrated understanding of community development and livelihood issues · Understanding of gender equity principles · Previous experience working closely with senior project managers and staff Livelihoods Field Officer (Code: LFO – Nov 08) 2 Positions Skills: · Commitment to and understanding of the Red Cross Principles · Ability to assess community needs and markets using participatory methods · Strong written and verbal English and Bahasa Indonesia skills · Commitment to improving the livelihood outcomes of vulnerable communities and a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable communities · Ability to maintain productive relationships with stakeholders such as government, non-government organizations, technical partner, PMI and beneficiaries · Experience in delivering training and capacity building programs · Skills and experience in working with women, particularly in small business or agriculture. · Willingness and ability to travel and work flexible hours as required Experiences: · 2-3 years direct experiences with community development issues, and livelihood issues.
